Canyon 01 has a Tare of 550kg & a GWM of 750kg. We recommend the braked trailer option for vehicles under 1200kg.

How is Canyon01 cabin & chassis constructed?

The Kamper is constructed using tried and tested materials and processes from the automotive, caravan and aerospace industries.

The chassis is out of galvanised, solid steel open channels to avoid corrosion and reduce weight.. It sits on an industrial, rated 1600kg, solid axle chassis with 2 x 14" tyres on steel rims.

The base is manufactured out of expanded PVC which is inert to water and chemicals and has an R-rating of 0.54 m²·°C/W

The walls & roof are constructed out of 20 & 30mm P.U. Expanded foam, 3mm composite Alubond with powdercoated layers of Aluminium on ABS and an internal layer of decorative Formica. These are all bonded with a flexible automotive adhesive to ensure resistance to wear due to vibration

What about the cabinetry?

All cabinetry is manufactured out of furniture S-BB grade, imported Birch plywood. These are sealed with a U.V. Sanding sealer and constructed using traditional tongue and groove glue-up with mechanical fasteners.

Borrowing for the aerospace industry, all non-load bearing panels are cut out to save on weight without compromising on rigidity.
